This Privacy Policy explains how Humeo Recruitment Sp. z o.o. processes personal data and uses cookies on the Humeo website available at www.humeotalent.com (the “Website”). Before using the Website, please read this Privacy Policy.

This document also fulfils the information obligation referred to in Article 13(1) and 13(2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).

This Privacy Policy includes information about the processing of personal data of people who contact Humeo Recruitment Sp. z o.o., contractors and their representatives, and candidates whose data is processed in recruitment processes conducted for Humeo clients.

What cookies are

Cookies are IT data stored on the user’s end device and used when visiting websites. In particular, they are text files containing the name of the website they come from, their storage time on the user’s device, and a unique number. The term “cookie” also covers similar technologies described in Directive 2009/136/EC and Article 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Law.

The current Website runtime is designed to operate without analytics, advertising, or remarketing trackers. Cookies may still be used where technically necessary for the proper operation, security, and administration of the Website.

Purposes and legal bases for processing

  1. Recruitment processes and related communication — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in maintaining contact and business relations).
  2. Performance of contracts and contract-related communication — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in proper contract performance and ongoing contact).
  3. Responding to enquiries — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling correspondence and replying to enquiries).
  4. Business contact and relationship management — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in initiating and maintaining business relations).
  5. Compliance with legal obligations — Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (tax and accounting obligations).
  6. Establishing, pursuing, or defending claims — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (protection of legal rights).
  7. Website security and usability — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and convenient use of the Website).

How we obtained your personal data

  • directly from you, for example when you send us a CV, an email, a LinkedIn message, a contact form submission, or when you use the Website,
  • from your employer, business partner, or the entity you represent, if you are indicated as a contact person,
  • from publicly available sources such as LinkedIn, for the purpose of initiating professional contact.

Data recipients

Your personal data may be disclosed to external service providers who process data on our behalf, such as IT service providers, accounting service providers, postal operators and couriers, and legal or audit service providers.

Your personal data may also be transferred outside the European Union on the basis of appropriate legal safeguards, including the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Where you have given consent, we may also share your personal data with entities identified by us as potentially interested in presenting you with an employment offer.

Retention period

  • data processed on the basis of consent is stored until consent is withdrawn,
  • data processed in connection with a contract is stored for the term of the contract and, where necessary, for the limitation period of related claims,
  • data processed to meet tax and accounting obligations is stored until the expiry of the relevant statutory retention period,
  • data processed for contact and relationship purposes is stored for the duration of the relationship and for up to 1 year after contact ends,
  • data processed for claims-related purposes is stored for the applicable limitation periods under law.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Whether providing data is mandatory

Except where the provision of personal data is a statutory requirement, providing data is voluntary. However, failure to provide it may make it difficult or impossible for us to achieve the purposes described above.

Your rights

  1. obtain information about how and to what extent we process your personal data and gain access to it,
  2. request rectification or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data,
  3. request erasure of your data where the legal conditions are met,
  4. request restriction of processing in the cases provided by law,
  5. object to processing based on our legitimate interest for reasons related to your particular situation,
  6. withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent,
  7. receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and, where applicable, have it transferred to another controller,
  8. lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland.

Automated decision-making

Your personal data may be processed by automated means, but such processing does not produce legal effects concerning you and does not significantly affect your situation in a similar way. We do not use profiling.
